Only five days ago, the world was silently preparing its eulogy for the Golden State Warriors. Two dominant wins later, everyone’s ready to send them on to the Western Conference Finals. But even after last night’s 20-point shellacking of the Memphis Grizzlies, the Dubs are still one win away from advancing to their first conference finals appearance since 1976.

The Grizz are on the ropes, that much is clear. Yesterday’s Game 5 win was an impressive shooting display, yes, but it was also thorough and demoralizing. Game 4’s blowout win was the turning point in the series, but Game 5 sent a message: You can’t beat the Golden State Warriors when they’re at their best.

Heading into Game 6, however, the Dubs can’t get caught up in their recent success and take their opponent lightly. Memphis is going to grind until the end, and they may have defensive nightmare Tony Allen back on the floor. This team believes it can force a Game 7 and won’t back down from anyone.

To conserve energy for the Western Conference Finals — which will be a matchup with their Pacific Division rivals should the Los Angeles Clippers win tonight — the Warriors want to close this series out in six. Steve Kerr and company have unlocked the key to their offense and won’t want to take any chances with a potential Game 7.

In order to overcome the Grizzlies’ best efforts in an elimination Game 6, here are the five keys to wrapping up the series for the Dubs.
