NCAA: Potential Landing Spots for Sterling Gibbs, Other Top Transfers

The recruiting trail is hot, and it’s not just about the freshmen anymore. College basketball is trending towards the transfer market a bit more with programs such as Kentucky and Duke having a monopoly on the top in-coming freshmen.

Iowa State has made a killing using transfers to bolster their roster, whether that be transfers from the Division I level or the junior college level, the Cyclones have opened the door for the rest of the nation to look for help through other avenues.
Heading into the 2015-16 NCAA season, there are a number of transfers who have yet to claim homes, a few of which are eligible immediately and can have an impact from day one upon their arrival.
Here, we’ll take a look at a few of the top transfers still on a market, see where they have visited, where they will visit and where they could be headed and teams that could/should be involved for their services.
