For the Orlando Magic, the season is winding down and the focus will soon turn to the offseason. In many ways, the summer is when rebuilding teams like the Magic see the most action. There will be draft picks to use wisely and free agents to attempt to bring on board to take this team to the next level.

This has been a somewhat disappointing season, with the team failing to crack 30 wins (they have eight games remaining and could technically get to that magical number, but with games against the streaking San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls, there is no chance this team goes 8-0 in that stretch).

Summer always brings hope and renewed optimism to every struggling team in the league, so let’s examine five key reasons for hope heading into next season (We’ll won’t include the fact this is a slick looking group off the court, even if I wanted to!).
