The Wichita State Shockers for the last for the last four seasons have played in the NCAA tournament, and a huge part of their success is because of their head coach, Gregg Marshall. Last weekend, Wichita State defeated Kansas in the round of 32 to advance to their second Sweet 16 appearance in the last three years.

As the NCAA tournament got under way one school, the Alabama Crimson Tide, got rid of their head coach, Anthony Grant, which means there’s a new position open. It’s been said that Alabama is set to make a big offer to get Marshall’s service to become their head coach to help navigate and lead the program.

Alabama has a lot of money in their athletics budget, and they can afford to pay Marshall any amount of money that he would most likely request. In addition, coaching at a prestigious athletic school like Alabama could do wonders for Marshall’s career as a coach.

Here are five reasons why Marshall should consider Alabama’s offer and ultimately accept it.
