The Brooklyn Nets have 28 games left in the regular season, and the next four will surely not be as easy as last night against the Denver Nuggets, where our hometown heroes amassed the second largest victory on the season (110-82) . This post All-Star break West Coast swing has all the makings of a 3-2 outcome when the team return to the Barclays Center.

More from Brooklyn Nets

Though, it is very possible for Brooklyn to come away with a 4-1 split — wishful thinking, but not a notion that is too far-fetched by any means.

Of course, the presence of Jarrett Jack will be a crucial component if the Nets want to label the road trip a complete success — his sore/tight hamstring has already cost him two games, and without the 18/4/7, on 46 percent shooting that Jack is averaging over the last 30 days, the odds are gravely diminished.

Markel Brown filled in swimmingly in his first career start Monday, producing a double-double that consisted of 10 points, 11 rebounds, with four blocks, two steals, which were all career highs. A fine outing by any ruling, but garbage-time did play a considerable factor.

It will most certainly take the continued team effort, good health, and a very rapid transition from newly acquired Thaddeus Young for Brooklyn to get ahead on these last four West Coast match-ups.
