Deep breaths, NBA fans. In a league that hasn’t seen a trade quite like this in a long time, it’s time to dissect the latest Woj Bomb from Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski and figure out just what the hell is going on. This deal literally broke Twitter.

For now, we’ll preface it with this:

Are you ready? As first reported by Woj, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks have engaged in talks for a three-team trade that will send Dion Waiters to OKC and J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland.

According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, the Cavs will get a heavily protected first round draft pick from OKC and the Knicks will receive a 2019 second-rounder from Cleveland.

The Knicks have also waived Samuel Dalembert and will receive Alex Kirk, Lou Amundson and Lance Thomas in the deal, according to Knicks reporter Steve Popper.

With so many moving pieces and Reggie Jackson — thankfully — uninvolved so far, let’s take a look at some quick NBA trade grades.
