NBA Awards Watch: Who Can Stop Our No.1, Andrew Wiggins?
Firstly let me say congratulations to Denver Nuggets coach Brian Shaw for finally playing rookie Jusuf Nurkic.
The rookie center is one of the best players in the 2014 NBA Draft class and he’s finally getting the opportunity to show that. His game is developing quite nicely in Denver and the Nuggets have a great piece on their hands.
In addition, don’t look now but Andrew Wiggins is quietly starting to play like the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. Even though he needs to add muscle and size to his frame to compete at a higher level, the rookie is still holding his own on the basketball court.
Wiggins has put together a few 20-point games this week, while in his last 10 games he’s nearly averaging nearly 16 points per game.
For all of our rookies we can say it’s been a good week to say the least. This tweet sums it all up.
Needless to say, our rookies are starting to get better. With that being said, let’s check out our rankings.
