The NBA schedule was released on Wednesday evening and the Los Angeles Lakers will make 28 national appearances. Whether their national visibility is of  merit is neither here nor there, the Lakers have a new coach, and new key players. A new era has commenced and the nation will take notice in the same fashion they have for decades prior.

In every teams quest to make it to the post season, it’s advantageous to dissect the schedule and identify games that should be easily won. In the Lakers quest to regain their championship pedigree it will be necessary for them to capitalize on each easy win, or what some players more affectionately refer to as “nights off”.

The following are a few dates on the Lakers schedule that can be considered low-hanging fruit.
