Hard Screens Podcast: Paul George Injury Talk with Jared Wade

To begin August, did we honestly believe the NBA would have more storylines created for us?  I sure didn’t.

Well, we now have another one, and it’s on the totally opposite side of the spectrum.

This isn’t a fun, fan-crazed atmosphere as it is with LeBron James deciding on where he’s taking his talents, or speculating about where Kevin Durant‘s heart will be in July 2016.

Instead, it’s discussing the heartbreaking injury of an All-Star, a guy that had his eyes set on entering the same category as James and Durant this upcoming season.  Paul George suffered a compound fracture of the tibia and fibula on Friday evening, during the final quarter of a USA Blue vs. White scrimmage.

George decided to chase down James Harden for a fastbreak block, but his right leg connected with the goal’s stanchion on his way down.

Today, I’m joined by 8 Points, 9 Seconds’ own Jared Wade, who runs things over at the site.  Being invested with the Pacers for many years, he provides insight on the injury, outlook of the team next season, and more:
