The NBA’s offseason has been full of interesting storylines. We had the second edition of LeBron James’ decision, we had to sit and wonder if Carmelo Anthony would chase the money or a championship and we had the interesting Chris Bosh-to-Houston farce.

Some of the biggest moves happened to be the quietest. Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan took discounts, while Chandler Parsons and Trevor Ariza gladly took the money to go elsewhere.

These choices are the players who will have the greatest impact on the team in 2014-15. We weren’t worried about future contract considerations or cap holds. That means we could give the Detroit Pistons a little slack!
