Over the next couple weeks, I will be breaking down the Memphis Grizzlies roster, position by position. The focus will be on the dept of each position, strengths and weaknesses of each player, and the role each player will play for the team.

This is part two of my five part series, and today I will be discussing shooting guards.

Many analysts have come out and stated there is a current lack of depth in the shooting guard position. The position, once home to greats such as Michael Jordan, Jerry West, Allen Iverson, Reggie Miller; is now almost made redundant due to the increased responsibilities and expectations on the point guard and the introduction of the combo guard.

With that in mind, let’s have a look at the shooting guards Memphis has on their roster. Are they benefiting or suffering from the lack of depth league-wide?
