Control

The point guard’s job is to manage and control the game in order to give their team the best opportunity of winning. This is exactly what Shelvin Mack does on a nightly basis. He’s not necessarily the flashiest of players you’ll see in the NBA, but Mack makes the correct decision more often than not.

This is backed up by Mack’s efficient use of the ball last season. The 24-year-old ranked eighth in the NBA among point guards in terms of his assist to turnover ratio. Mack averaged 3.04 assists for every turnover, a stat that made him popular with teammates and coaches alike.
