Potential Landing Spots:

Sean Kilpatrick is at the crossroads of the NBA Draft process. He’s a veteran with leadership qualities, but with his underwhelming physical attributes and being one of the oldest players in the draft, he sits as a fringe prospect. Some mock drafts have him as a late second round pick while others don’t have him getting drafted at all. Both are very real possibilities. His best bet is to make an impact during Summer League play.

Teams That Make Sense:

Indiana Pacers: Probably not a bad pick for the Pacers to make here. A guy that plays with some edge and gives you good defense as well. Should they let Lance Stephenson walk, Kilpatrick could be in the mix to gain some playing time and not have to wait for him to progress before putting him on the floor.

San Antonio Spurs: Should the Spurs win the NBA Finals, you could see Manu Ginobilli and Tim Duncan calling it a career. Even if they stick around, their time is coming and adding a defensive-minded guarded to pair with Kawhi Leonard in the future is something that could be considered here.
