The Atlanta Hawks return home to Philips Arena tonight with a great chance to wrap up their series with the Indiana Pacers. With the Washington Wizards awaiting the winner in the second round, the Hawks need just one win from two to seal it. How are they going to do that though?

Atlanta’s style of play doesn’t really come down to one player going off for 30 or 40 points, instead it’s a much more balanced effort. Coach Mike Budenholzer’s philosophy involves sharing the basketball, and that generally results in the scoring burden being shared too.

As a result, the contribution from the bench is far more important to Atlanta than it is for most. Luckily for them, in this series, and for most of the regular season, they have been prepared to step up.
