BROOKLYN NETS 102, Toronto Raptors 98
Game 3, Eastern Conference First Round
The Nets did their darnedest to give away a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, but held off the Raptors to take a 2-1 series lead when Joe Johnson hit a pair of free throws with 3.1 seconds remaining.

Johnson led the Nets with 29 points, Deron Williams added 22 to go with eight assists and Paul Pierce tossed in 18 points.

DeMar DeRozan had 30 points for the Raptors, Patrick Patterson scored 17 off the bench—but missed two critical free throws with 19 seconds left that would have tied that game, and Kyle Lowry scored 15 points. Jonas Valanciunas had his third straight double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Game 4 is Sunday at 7 p.m. Eastern.
