With the regular season set to end on Wednesday, the NBA discussions will be centered around the end of the year awards. Most of it will be determining who wins the Most Valuable Player award between Kevin Durant and LeBron James, while others will be making their pitches for why a certain coach should win Coach of the Year.

In this piece we’ll take a look at the rookies. The HoopsHabit Rookie of the Year award winner will be announced next week with a final Rookies Ranking to determine the crown. For now we’ll look at the NBA All-Rookie team. There are a number of candidates for the first team selections, most of them are closely involved with the ROY discussion.

Last season’s All-Rookie first team featured Damian Lillard, Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal, Dion Waiters and Harrison Barnes. Lillard walked away with the ROY award as well. Who earns the prestigious spot on the HoopsHabit All-Rookie team? Let’s find out.
