Other Rookie Notes:

* Ben McLemore will be partaking in the Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend festivities. Sadly that’s the biggest accomplishment the Sacramento Kings rookie has had in recent weeks. His minutes are dwinding and the Kings’ hopes at a playoff push are completely gone. McLemore could see his minutes go up as Sacramento continues to fight for a top draft pick.

* Neither Giannis Antetokounmpo nor Nate Wolters make this week’s Rookie Rankings for the Milwaukee Bucks. Both have been steady for the Bucks but haven’t  done enough to hang on to a spot in the rankings this week.

* The Brooklyn Nets are a whopping 1-10 when Mason Plumlee plays 20 minutes or more in a game. They are also 0-5 when Plumlee scores in double figures. Just throwing that out there.

* Not that the game really matters but Boston Celtics rookie Kelly Olynyk should not be playing in the Rising Stars Challenge over Wolters, McLemore, Ryan Kelly or even Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
