NBA Trades: 4 Jerami Grant trades based on recent NBA rumors: Washington Wizards

Of all the teams on this list, the Washington Wizards seem to be the only one willing to part with a young prospect that may hold some level of interest for the Pistons.

Rui Hachimura just returned to the lineup for the first time this season, but his playoff appearance last season showed the flashes of an interesting young prospect that could entice the Pistons.

In five playoff games against the Philadelphia 76ers, Hachimura averaged 14.8 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while stretching the floor just enough. He capped it off with consecutive 20 point performances, one of which featuring 13 rebounds as well. There is a need to show that more consistently, but there is something there.

Montrezl Harrell makes the salary work and is a fun player to look at for the rest of the season, should he not request a buyout. The Wizards cannot trade a draft pick until 2025 at the earliest. and would likely insist on some sort of protection. But getting a pick and a young player without muddling their cap space is a good result for Detroit.

At the end of the day, none of these moves are the type of thing that drastically alters the future. They bring something of intrigue to Detroit, though, so if this is what the market ends up being, fans will be able to sell themselves on a young new piece, if nothing else.
