149. . Guard. Oklahoma City Thunder. James Bouknight . 6. player

The rumblings surrounding the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Bouknight are getting too loud to ignore. Bouknight is a dynamic scoring threat driving to the basket and could thrive playing next to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. There is enough defensive talent to make up for some of his shortcomings on that end of the floor. He has the potential to contribute on that end of the floor, he just needs reps. If the Thunder stay put this pick makes plenty of sense.

41. . Wing. Golden State Warriors. Moses Moody. 7. player

Whether or not the Golden State Warriors are making this pick for themselves will be debated throughout the night. If they do keep the picks, they need players who can contribute immediately. Moses Moody is one of the safest picks in the draft. He is a long 3-and-D wing that is ready to do both of those things at the NBA level immediately. His ceiling is limited due to his less-than-stellar athleticism but in this role, he will be perfect for a team hoping to return to championship contention.

Wing. Orlando Magic. Jonathan Kuminga. 8. player. 38.

This is where the slide stops for Jonathan Kuminga. After looking to be a lock for the top five since he was a senior in high school he was inconsistent enough to move down the board a bit. He has a sky-high ceiling with poor decision-making. With another top 10 pick with a high work ethic in tow, pairing Kuminga with Barnes could be the best thing for both of them going forward. If nothing else, the Magic have plenty of time to take their lumps.

84. . Wing. Sacramento Kings. Franz Wagner. 9. player

Even those without sources seem to feel confident in saying there is a promise between Franz Wagner and the Sacramento Kings. If Monte McNair showed in the last draft the type of players he prioritizes then Wanger continues that trend. He is a lockdown perimeter defender, a knockdown shooter and beloved by the analytics community. Having another person to do work on the wing beyond Harrison Barnes may be enough to push the Kings into the play-in.

10. player. 211. . Guard. Memphis Grizzlies. Josh Giddey

In the first trade of the draft week, the Memphis Grizzlies absorbed plenty of salary to move up seven spots in the draft. The reports are that they are targeting Josh Giddey. The fit with the roster is somewhat complicated given that Giddey and Ja Morant are not shooters in any way. However, Giddey is an elite passer who would find ways to make everyone on the floor better. If the Grizzlies can add shooting elsewhere this is the kind of pick that could transform the entire flow of their offense.
