2. Work on ball movement

The Cavaliers starting backcourt is averaging 10.3 of the team’s 24.0 assists per game this season. This number is good for only 20th in the league this season, which is a big reason the Cavaliers have the worst offense in the league.

They are attempting the eighth-most 2-point field goal attempts in the league this year, but they are 22nd in the league for 2-point field goal percentage. What is worse is they are last in the league for 3-point field goals, 29th in the league for 3-point attempts, and last in the league in 3-point percentage.

All of this points to the fact that the ball is not moving well enough. The Cavs are not making the right pass to get their teammates open. The top offensive teams are all able to get the ball to an open shooter which allows for a higher percentage shot.

The Cavaliers need to try and keep the ball moving and get their players open for better shots. it will not impact their playoff chances this season but it might get them into a better position next season.
