Houston Rockets goal No.1) Health

The Rockets are struggling to get their team healthy at the moment. Danuel House Jr. has been out with an ankle issue but is expected back within the week. However, it is not just House who is out in the short term.

Sterling Brown is also out with a knee injury. Eric Gordon is out for at least a month with a groin strain, D.J. Augustin and Dante Exum are both in walking boots with lower leg injuries and neither player has a timetable for return. This has been compounded by David Nwaba re-activating his right wrist injury.

The Rockets need to start getting these players back in their rotation so that they can start to evaluate the talent they should keep on the roster for next season. As mentioned earlier, the Rockets are in full rebuild mode, and assessing talent is a big part of that.

Last offseason, the Rockets signed Christian Wood and traded for Wall. As a result, they have started to gather together talent who will be central to the rebuild. With the plethora of draft picks they have over the next few years, they should be able to come back to relevance in a couple of seasons.
