NBA: Ranking the 2020-2021 City Edition jerseys
By Corey Rausch
20. OKC Thunder
For a repeat performance of last year, the OKC Thunder stay basic but solid. These jerseys are nothing crazy but they look good. The blue and orange pop on the black body of the jersey. Having Oklahoma on the front of the jersey for the first time is a cool twist.
They are just a little too plain to be higher. If these were a normal alternate they would fit. They do not look like a special occasion as much as a rebrand. While that is parsing details that is a detail that sets it apart from some of the higher ranking designs.
19. Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls entry is simple but pretty impressive. Celebrating the art deco style that is heavily featured in the city is a nice nod to the culture. The use of the font for the directional signs at the United Center is a cool feature. Even the diamonds are a look at the ironwork of the city. The colors are cool and they embrace the city.
The tag line is a shout out to what happened after the great Chicago fire and how the city rose from the darkness. However, they are also somewhat plain. They are far above the dregs of this list but they fall short of the top.
