6. Shake Milton

Shake Milton is having a breakout season for the Philadelphia 76ers. In just his second season in the NBA, Milton is looking like a legitimate role player that could play solid minutes for the Sixers come playoff time. He is one of the few guys on this list who has received some recognition for his recent accomplishments. Milton recently tied an NBA record for three-pointers made in a row as he made 13-straight three-pointers over a three-game span.

Shake Milton’s counting stats won’t blow anyone away, however, his shooting splits are very impressive for his sophomore season. Milton is shooting 50.0 percent from the field, 46.5 percent from three and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Obviously, the number that immediately sticks out is the 46.5 percent from 3-point land (second in the NBA). If Milton is able to provide consistent 3-point shooting for the 76ers come playoff time he will become an absolutely invaluable player for them.

Not only has Milton been a knockdown shooter for the Sixers this season. He has also been a solid defender. With Milton’s shooting prowess he really only needs to provide average to above-average defense for his team in order to stay on the floor. Especially considering the fact that the Sixers are loaded with defensive talent and lack shooting, Milton will only see more minutes as the season goes on and the playoffs approach.
