2. New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson 19, Lonzo Ball 22, Brandon Ingram 22, Josh Hart 24, Jaxson Hayes 19, Frank Jackson 21, Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Much like the Hawks, the New Orleans Pelicans roster is bursting at the seams with youth. After the Anthony Davis trade and the 2019 draft, the Pels were equipped with an abundance of young assets.

Williamson has put up 20-plus in his last four starts. His explosiveness, court vision and humility are unparalleled for someone his age and of his fame. Zion is the future of the league, assuming his health remains intact. It’s that simple.

Ingram, Ball and Hart have found their home in New Orleans, all playing at peak levels for their career. BI has been the focal point as he received an all-star bid this season, but Ball has been key defensively and in terms of facilitation and Hart has emerged into a key role, averaging career highs in nearly every category.

Hayes currently sits behind Derrick Favors on the depth chart, but is emerging as a top rookie center this year. Jackson remains a pool of possibility, as he has plenty of talent, but lacks in minutes
