New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are on the outside looking in at the playoffs, five games behind the eighth-seeded  Memphis Grizzlies. They’re probably too far back, but that doesn’t mean they’ll want to sell. They may want to keep the core together to see how they’ll work with Zion Williamson next season, but if they do sell, Jrue Holiday is sure to be one of the most sought-after targets in the league at the trade deadline.

New York Knicks

New York Knicks team president Steve Mills was resolute on not trading Marcus Morris. However, Mills got fired on Tuesday so Morris is on the market. Just about anybody on this roster can be moved, but Morris leapt up the leaderboard following Mills’ dismissal.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder were expected to take a major step back after trading both Russell Westbrook and Paul George last summer, but that hasn’t been the case. They’re firmly in the playoff picture and really shouldn’t be considered sellers, but buyers instead. It’s more of a seller move, but Danilo Gallinari has been spoken about in whispers as we near the trade deadline. Maybe if he’s packaged with one of the Thunder’s historic war chest of draft picks he could be moved in a buyer’s transaction after all.
