Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks may end up moving a large expiring salary like that of Chandler Parson or Evan Turner, but even if that happens Alex Len might be involved at the trade deadline as salary filler. He’s a solid reserve big and could play a role as a contributor on the floor for a receiving team in addition to facilitating a larger move.

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are one of those rare teams that have practically no bad salary on the books. Especially now with Gordon Hayward‘s resurgence, the Celtics simply don’t have the flotsam that is often required to consummate a deal. As a result, Daniel Theis is most likely to be involved in any trade. Particularly if that deal at the trade deadline involves Clint Capela.

Brooklyn Nets

The Brooklyn Nets are in a bizarre spot. They’re bad but can’t really sell because they’ll be adding Kevin Durant next year as well as hopefully getting Kyrie Irving back healthy. They can’t really buy because they’re basically doomed to finish in the seventh or eighth seed in the East, and they’ll be playoff fodder for the Bucks or whoever the two seed ends up being. One of the easiest contracts for the Nets to move (if they choose to do so) belongs to Garrett Temple, who has a $5 million team option next year.
