Philadelphia 76ers: A look at the 2019 NBA Summer League roster

2. Shake Milton
It’s obvious the Sixers liked what they saw out of Shake Milton last season on his two-way contract. Despite appearing in just 20 games with the team, the SMU product earned himself a standard NBA deal with the production he provided with limited time on the floor.
As first reported by Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice, the Sixers announced on Tuesday they will sign Milton to a four-year contract using their remaining salary cap room. Milton could serve as a backup point guard option to Ben Simmons in the near future.
1. Zhaire Smith
Leading the charge of this team over the next week is Zhaire Smith. All eyes should be on how he has developed after his strenuous rookie campaign. Held to six games with the team due to an allergic reaction, Smith is still bound to have a major impact on the franchise. In what was a huge confidence booster, his best performance of the season was in April against the Chicago Bulls, where he tallied 17 points and five assists.
His freakish athleticism and hops for a guy that is only 6’4″ is impressive, and it should be put on display starting next season in an expanded role.
For now, the 20-year-old guard is ready to let loose and have himself another eye-popping summer slate of games.
