4. Norvel Pelle

Even in the onslaught of free agency moves this week, the Sixers found time to utilize one of their two two-way contracts on Norvel Pelle. The athletic big man has been an essential piece to the Sixers’ developmental system in the past year. He averaged 11.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 36 games with the Delaware Blue Coats last season.

With the team’s recent additions of Al Horford and Kyle O’Quinn to provide aid to Joel Embiid, it looks as if Pelle will only crack the rotation whenever the frontcourt is light in 2019-20. Until then, he’s set to provide some strong dunks and rim protection in Las Vegas.

3. Matisse Thybulle

The organization will get its first chance to watch what they traded up for a few weeks ago. Matisse Thybulle brings a solid all-around craft to a revitalized Sixers team that will need role players next season.

The Naismith Defensive Player of the Year in college basketball last season recorded 3.5 steals and 2.3 blocks per game for Washington.

It’ll be interesting to see how well he can defend in an NBA format.
