Thanasis Antetokounmpo: 2 years, $3 million (Milwaukee Bucks)

Who’s ready for Do Everything Possible To Make Giannis Antetokounmpo Happy SZN? In all honesty, it doesn’t really matter much if Thanasis Antetokounmpo can’t play, since the Milwaukee Bucks‘ roster is already stacked and this deal is only a two-year flier worth the minimum.

However, people also shouldn’t write off the Greek Freak’s older brother, even if this move is obviously aimed at pleasing Giannis. Thanasis only has two career NBA games to his name, but has impressed overseas the last two years playing for Pananthinaikos.

During that time, he was a two-time Greek Basket League champion, one-time Greek Basketball Cup winner, one-time Greek League Most Spectacular Player and two-time Greek League All-Star Game MVP. He’ll struggle to find minutes, but this move is probably 95 percent about something other than basketball anyway.
