2. Bucks find touch from long range, defense rises to the occasion

It is no secret that the Bucks struggled from 3-point range in the series opener. They shot 33 percent from beyond the arc, converting 13 of their 39 attempts.

In Game 2, it was a completely different story for the home team as Milwaukee shot 42.6 percent from long range. Not only that, but it set a franchise record, knocking down 20 3-pointers on 47 attempts.

Another area of improvement for the Bucks was on defense. Boston had little trouble getting whatever it wanted in Game 1 en route to shooting 54 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from downtown.

Milwaukee flipped the script in Game 2, holding the Celtics to just 39.5 shooting overall and 35.7 percent from 3-point range. This includes the game-changing third quarter run by the Bucks in which the Celtics went 1-for-12 from the field and committed six turnovers.

If the Bucks continue to play this well at the defensive end of the floor, they should be able to steal one of the next two games on Boston’s home floor.
