4. Okogie blocks Harden in huge win over Houston

On Feb. 13, the Timberwolves wheezed into their last game before the 2019 All-Star Break, having gone 2-6 in their past eight to slide to four games under .500. Somehow, Minnesota got maximum effort out of everyone to upset the Houston Rockets 121-111 on that evening.

That game is literally the best game the Wolves played all season, and luckily for us, the ridiculous awesomeness of that night was perfectly captured in this clip:

Rookie Josh Okogie, who by February had already become a fan favorite due to his ball-to-the-wall style of play and effervescent love for basketball, rejected future Hall-of-Famer James Harden on his signature step-back 3. Okogie hounded Harden the entire game, making him work for every inch; while Harden inevitably wound up dropping 42 points, they came on 34 shots, which registered as one of Harden’s least efficient games of his historic 2018-19 season.

Seven Timberwolves — including Okogie — scored in double digits, capping off a tremendous team win highlighted by one of the best defensive plays in recent Timberwolves history.
