Detroit Pistons: 3 players most likely to be traded before deadline
1. Reggie Bullock
Easily the team’s most valuable trade prospect is wing player Reggie Bullock. He has the versatility to guard multiple positions on the wing, and he has developed a consistent shooting touch over the last couple of seasons.
On 6.4 attempts per game, Bullock is shooting 39.8 percent from 3-point range. While he’s not quite shooting the 44.5 percent mark he hit last season, his near-40 percent mark is more than acceptable.
3-and-D wings are the most desirable asset in the modern NBA. Teams have gone more and more towards switch-happy schemes on the defensive end after the great success the Warriors have had using it. Bullock would slot right into any team’s rotation to fill that weakness.
Some teams to watch that are looking to maximize their title opportunities while they can are the Philadelphia 76ers and Rockets.
At just $2.5 million, Bullock is on a bargain of a contract compared to what most players with his skill-set typically command on the open market. Bullock is the player the team needs to focus on trading the most because he gives them the best opportunity of landing a valuable piece in return. Of the three players listed, he is the one most likely to be playing in a new uniform when the trade deadline has passed.
