1. Terrence Ross

Swingman Terrence Ross is having the best season of his career off the bench for the Magic, but what makes him top this list is the fact his skill-set would be of use to any team in 2019.

Ross runs off screens to get open better than most in the league, and he is making 38.8 percent of his career high 5.8 3-point attempts per game. That ability and sweet shooting stroke have kept the Magic in games or brought them back to life when they’ve been trailing.

Ross’ ability to catch fire was on display again recently, as he notched 25 in a come-from-behind win against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. He does not need the ball in his hands to influence the game, and his defensive efforts have not gone unnoticed either.

The Magic have a defensive rating for the season of 108.4 (13th in the league), but that number is even better with Ross on the court, as it falls to 106.5. These 3-and-D players are so valuable to contending teams, and Ross ticks all of the boxes you could hope for.

Like Vucevic, Ross may be integral to the Magic because of how he leads their second unit offensively, but he could also get them back real assets if they decide to let him go. Although he too is an unrestricted free agent this summer, he can be plugged into any other roster and be ready to go immediately. That is someone worth taking a flier on.

The money he’s owed isn’t difficult for other organizations to swallow, and he would be a weapon off the bench for an extended playoff run. Ross has put himself in the shop window in Orlando, and he looks like the Magic’s best chance of netting something back as they continue building their roster for the long-term.
