Detroit Pistons: Who should participate in All-Star Weekend?

Slam Dunk Contest: Glenn Robinson III
Blake Griffin is a former Slam Dunk Contest winner (2011) and by far the most popular dunker on the Pistons, but at this stage in his career, the established veteran star is not going to enter a competition that is a playground for younger players who are hungry to make a name for themselves.
That leaves Robinson, another former Slam Dunk Contest winner.
Taking the Slam Dunk title in 2017 appeared to be a launching pad for Robinson’s career at the time, but two years later, he’s still looking for his big break.
Robinson was in the middle of his best pro season when he won the dunk contest as a member of the Indiana Pacers, but then a serious ankle injury sidelined him for most of the 2017-18 season. Over the summer he signed with the Pistons in free agency, returning to the area where he was a college star at Michigan.
Robinson has been a part-time starter in Detroit, but he’s not getting a lot of playing time. In 14.6 minutes per game, scoring 4.4 points a night, he just hasn’t been able to put together a notable highlight package of dunks.
Robinson is a former dunk champ, however, and he can still jump, so he wouldn’t have the worst case should he want to lobby for a spot.
