1. Reggie Bullock

After finally staying mostly healthy last season, Reggie Bullock was in line for another big year in a better system. However, seven games in, we aren’t seeing the same shooting prowess that we saw last season.

Not only has his shooting regressed from last season, but he is also struggling badly compared to his career averages from all over. For his career, his slash line is .440/.395/.808. This season, he’s at .328/.250/.867.

On a team with a multitude of playmakers but a lack of shooters, Bullock’s primary job is to spot up and space the floor for the team’s big three. With Luke Kennard on the shelf and not many consistent shooting options available, Bullock needs to get his act together on that end.

Regardless of how he plays on defense, his shooting ability is what will or won’t make him money this upcoming offseason.

Bullock recently suffered an ankle injury, and he will be day-to-day for likely a week. It would not be surprising for Casey to rest Bullock fully. In the early part of the season, it’s not worth risking a long-term injury for a couple wins.

Maybe this time off will help Bullock get his shooting stroke back. If he doesn’t, the team could be looking for a shooter at the trade deadline or even sooner to bolster this offense.
