5. Nikola Jokic (C) — No. 41 pick in 2014 NBA Draft

Career stats (with the Nuggets): 228 GP, 14.9 PPG, 9.1 RPG, 4.4 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.7 BPG, 2.1 TOV, 53.0 FG%, 83.2 FT%

Like Murray, Nikola Jokic hasn’t been in the league for that long — three years to be exact — but that hasn’t stopped him from oozing potential.

Over the past two seasons, Jokic has flashed one of the most unique skill-sets we’ve ever seen from a big man. At 6’10” and 250 pounds, he can bully his way to the basket and pull down rebounds on the defensive end. He can stretch the floor out to the 3-point line, shooting 39.6 percent this past season.

Jokic’s scoring is nice, but his best attribute will always be his ability to dish the basketball, putting him in an elite conversation of best big men passers in NBA history.

Some of the passes Jokic pulls off don’t appear possible for even the best of point guards, with the phrase “eyes in the back of his head” being a totally apt description.

Jokic’s passing is so good that Denver runs its offense through him, stationing him at various spots on the court and allowing him to hit his slashing teammates with pinpoint accuracy.

As his career progresses, Jokic could realistically become a guy who averages over 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists every year — a stat-line we’re accustomed to seeing from LeBron James, not a slow-footed Serbian big man.
