1. Kevin Hervey, PF — UT-Arlington

College Stats: 20.5 PPG and 8.5 RPG

Kevin Hervey won the Sun Belt Player of the Year last year, which means he is going to be on NBA scouts’ radars. Hervey has what it takes to score the ball offensively and can rebound the ball.

His senior year, he was able to average 20.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Since he is a senior and the Thunder are looking for talented players, he may be picked if OKC does not go the draft-and-stash route.

While he is talented, he has had injury problems. He tore his right ACL in high school and he tore his left one in Jan. 2016. That may be why he slips so low on draft night, but if the Thunder are looking for a player with the ability to score and don’t want to draft-and-stash he may be the best option.

While he doesn’t shoot the 3-ball at a high percentage (33 percent his senior year) he has the ability to knock it down and his upside could be high given his scoring ability.

Most mocks have Hervey going before this point, but crazier things have happened on draft night. If he’s still available, he’d be a great option this late in the draft.
