Highlights

Now for the fun part.

There are honestly too many highlights to choose from, so some personal favorites are going to be inserted here:

This play is from a regular season contest against the Detroit Pistons, a game the Jazz won. Plays like the one above helped.

The next one is from another regular season matchup, this time against the Sacramento Kings. Mitchell split the defense and throws down a monstrous slam. Enough said.

My personal favorite, though, wasn’t his 38 points in what would end up being an elimination game for the Oklahoma City Thunder, nor his winning of the Slam Dunk Contest.

No, my favorite highlight from Donovan Mitchell this past season came against the Houston Rockets, but this time, it was Mitchell who was prepared for liftoff – and he wasn’t waiting for any clearance from anyone:
