2. Aaron Holiday, PG — UCLA

The pedigree is certainly there for the kid who could be the first pure point guard prospect off the board after the Trae Young / Collin Sexton duo.

Aaron Holiday, younger brother of Jrue and Justin, is a little old (he’ll be 22 when the season begins) and a little small (just 6’1″), but the Pacers have a clear need for an upgrade at the position, and he might be the best one available. Like fellow UCLA Bruin Darren Collison, the man Holiday would be replacing, Aaron profiles as an excellent 3-point shooter and solid if unspectacular defender.

The difference is that unlike Collison, Holiday can get into the lane whenever he wants, which could open up a whole host of options for a Pacers offense that has inside out versatility in both Oladipo and big man Myles Turner.

Like all of the players we’ve mentioned so far, there’s a significant chance Holiday will be gone before 23, especially if the Atlanta Hawks (No. 19) move on from Dennis Schroder or the Chicago Bulls (No. 22) get a hankering for a family reunion and feel the need to acquire a new point guard for the umpteenth year in a row.
