Highlights

Prince had several standout games this year. Coincidentally, his five best games of the year also happened to be his five 30-point games.

One of his most impactful games came on April 8 against the Boston Celtics. In the Hawks’ six-point win, Prince — who finished with a +6 — finished with 33 points in 12-of-17 shooting, including a scorching 7-for-8 from downtown.

Prince got his fair share of looks on spot-ups and off-ball screens, but he also flashed his one-on-one ability in the pick-and-roll. He made a fair amount of mid-range jumpers and he used the pick-and-roll to find a cutting Dewayne Dedmon for the deciding basket late in the fourth quarter.

Prince also looked impressive against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 17, dropping 38 points with eight rebounds on 13-of-26 shooting. This was another game where Prince put the ball on the floor a lot, as he used his length and shooting touch to create baskets for himself. He also made several catch-and-shoot 3s.

As great as that performance was, Prince’s 38-point night against the tanking Chicago Bulls was arguably better. For one, he was more efficient; he shot 11-for-18 overall and 7-for-13 from distance. He also collected six boards and seven dimes to go along with his big shooting night.

In this game, Prince used a good mix of drives when the defense closed out on him and treys when they left him open.
