Pau Gasol

Both Gasols are done playing basketball this season. Marc Gasol got a jump on his vacation earlier than his brother, though. Former Grizzlies center Pau Gasol was a member of the San Antonio Spurs for their five-game postseason run.

Pau played for the Grizzlies from 2001-08, when he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. In his time in Memphis, Pau was selected to an All-Star team and put up 18.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists rebounds per game. He was one of the best players to ever put on a uniform in Memphis.

Presently, Gasol does his hooping in San Antonio. The Spurs were hopeful that they could be contenders for a title this season between Pau, LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard, but an injury to Leonard made them a non-factor in the postseason and they were a gentlemen’s sweep at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.

The aging Gasol averaged 6.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game this postseason. Now, maybe he is traveling around his native Spain with his brother Marc. Who really knows?
