1. Philadelphia’s resiliency

It should come as no surprise, but Philadelphia — without any playoff experience — has displayed complete composure and is making a strong case for the new beasts of the East.

I say it should come to no surprise because even when they’ve had their backs against the wall, they have overcome adversity and rose all the way up to the 3-seed in the Eastern Conference.

Now you can see they are a legitimate threat in these playoffs, and it all comes down to their composure and resiliency among other key attributes.

“They don’t let you off the hook,” Wade said, giving much-deserved credit to the 76ers. “You make one mistake, or you take your foot off the gas for one second, they make you pay.”

Miami was leading 61-56 at the half and forced Philly 17 turnovers in the half, their most in any half this season. The pressure was there.

In Miami, they forced 8 turnovers from Embiid, seven from Simmons and executed great defense, resulting in a series-high 26 turnovers in the game….and they still managed to lose by four points.

That’s resiliency and poise at a high-caliber level.
