Final grade

What you came here for was to find out what grade DeAndre Jordan deserves for his efforts during the 2017-18 NBA season. DJ may not have taken leaps and bounds offensively, but he was still one of the most valuable big men in the NBA to his team.

Without Jordan on the roster, there is no chance the Clippers would have been in playoff contention throughout the majority of the season.

Grading his season isn’t easy. There is no denying the massive numbers that he put up on the glass, but his offensive numbers and blocks per game went down from the year before.

Jordan has some decisions to make this coming offseason. Does he opt into his deal with the Clippers, or does he test free agency? It is likely that he will be in L.A. once again in 2018-19 and expectations will be high for him, especially on the offensive side of the court with yet another offseason of work.

With that being said, Jordan put together an all-around solid season. He had some massive performances and showed great leadership for the Clippers, especially following the trade of Griffin. Factoring all of that in, Jordan deserves a favorable grade.
