Los Angeles Clippers: 2017-18 player grades for DeAndre Jordan
By Evan Massey
Highlights
Looking back at the 2017-18 NBA season, there are a few games that stick out as DeAndre Jordan’s best and worst games. Let’s take a look at those games.
On Jan. 4 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jordan posted 26 points and 17 rebounds against Steven Adams, limiting his counterpart to 12 points and nine boards. The Clippers lost that game, but it certainly wasn’t Jordan’s fault, as the big man shot 10-for-15 from the field and 6-for-7 from the foul line.
On Valentine’s Day, Jordan dropped a career-high 30 points, 13 rebounds, four steals and three assists on the Boston Celtics. He shot 11-for-14 from the floor and made eight of his nine free throws, leading the Clippers to a 10-point win on the road.
There was also a dominant performance from Jordan against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jordan ended up scoring 20 points and snagged 23 rebounds in the game. His performance helped the Clippers knock the Cavs off by a final score of 116-102.
Finally, one more game to note was on March 21, with Jordan racking up 25 points and 22 rebounds against the Milwaukee Bucks. He dominated the game from the start and led the Clippers to a 127-120 win.
As far as a play or two that should make Jordan’s career highlight reel from this season, there was this dunk against the Cavaliers.
There was also Jordan baptizing Sacramento Kings’ big man Skal Labissierre.
Those are just a few of the best moments from Jordan this season. There weren’t too many bad games and there were a few huge games, but mostly he was an example of consistency for the Clippers.
