1. Ntilikina looked lost, game notes

Frank Ntilikina had his first two shot attempts in the NBA not hit the rim, not hit the glass, nothing but air. It was a cringe-worthy moment as we wonder how insignificant the moment may or may not be in the near future. There was no summer league, practically no preseason for Frank, and was pulled after just seven minutes of play, he looked like a timebomb anytime he came near the basketball.

Thankfully Michael Beasley returned to the bench and was deemed questionable to return after a nasty ankle roll after he nailed a 3-pointer in his first play of the game.

It has been an oddball year for injuries and many fans as well as I am hoping this trend does not continue. Kristaps Porzingis took an odd fall at one point late in the 3rd quarter but appeared okay and stayed in the game.

Tim Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee just had not played well scoring a collective 17 points on the game.

Ron Baker, however, was the noticeable difference maker off the bench. He was one of only three players on the team he ended the game with a positive plus/minus and scored six points with four assists, two rebounds, three steals, but committed four turnovers as well.

With one game into the 2017-18 season, the Knicks have a lot of work to do, and still must figure out a better starting rotation.
