Early conclusions

The feeling one gets from this team is that it will have its ups and downs and probably land in the lottery with a sub-.500 record.

Victor Oladipo and Myles Turner will be asked to take on primary roles for the first time in their careers, and there will be general growing pains as this team tries to build chemistry.

The 2017-18 Indiana Pacers are on the lower end of the NBA talent spectrum, so winning enough games to be in playoff contention will be a tall order for this club. However, there is a silver lining to all this.

This group is very likable, should bring effort every night and will play at a high tempo that will make them fun to watch. This team isn’t a contender, but it’s a club that the fanbase can get behind and enjoy as the Pacers attempt to build with the future in mind.
