2. Make 38 percent of his 3-point shots

One knock on Andrew Wiggins is that he does not shoot the 3-ball well. Last season he took that to heart and improved his 3-point shooting percentage from 30 percent to 35.6 percent. While that represents excellent year-over-year improvement, there is still room to grow.

If Wiggins can get that closer to 38 percent this season, he will add a dimension to the Timberwolves that many critics say they are missing as a team. The firepower on this roster will help him get more open looks. Teams have to respect all five projected starters much more than last season.

When the defense collapses on a player like Towns or Jimmy Butler, Wiggins will get open looks. In the past he has been forced to create a lot of looks for himself. Expect his shooting percentage to rise since that is no longer the case.
