1. Sindarius Thornwell

Adding rookie guard Sindarius Thornwell to the list is a must for the Clippers. He was selected with the 48th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft and should be able to carve out a role for the Clippers in his first season.

Last year with the South Carolina Gamecocks, Thornwell showcased a leadership skill that will be much-needed in L.A. He may not take on that role as a rookie, but he is a piece that will develop quickly for Rivers. Watching him develop will be entertaining, to say the least.

Thornwell was a steal in the second round of the draft. There is a chance that he will end up being a full-time starter in the future, but his floor is at least a quality backup. In his preseason debut, Thornwell put up six points in four minutes, going 2-for-2 from the field.

Expect to see Thornwell impress the Clippers early on and force Rivers to give him some playing time. He could very well end up being an X-factor for Los Angeles as soon as this season.
