Toronto Raptors: Predicting all-time starting 5 in NBA 2K18
Center: Antonio Davis
The Indiana Pacers dealt Antonio Davis to Toronto for the rights to Jonathan Bender in 1999 in a move that paid great dividends for the Raptors.
Davis teamed up with Vince Carter to lead Toronto to its first playoff appearance in 2001. Davis also made his first and only All-Star game in 2001, averaging 13.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.
Toronto traded Davis, Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies to the Chicago Bulls in 2003 for Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter. Davis was moved from Chicago to New York in 2005. The Raptors traded Jalen Rose and a first round pick to the Knicks for Davis in 2006. By this time, Davis was 37 years old and a shell of his former self. He retired in 2006 after suffering a season-ending back injury.
