Power Forward: Chris Bosh

The Toronto Raptors selected Chris Bosh with the fourth pick in the 2003 NBA Draft.

At 6’11”, with a smooth jump shot and uncanny quickness, Bosh put his defenders in a bind. Leave him open in the pick-and-pop and he can nail jumpers all day. But if you close out too aggressively, Bosh would drive past you and finish at the rim.

He was a five-time All-Star and a one-time All-NBA selection in his time in Toronto. Bosh’s best year came in the 2009-10 season, when he averaged 24.0 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.

In the summer of 2010, Bosh took his talents to South Beach, joining Dwyane Wade and LeBron James to form a super-team in Miami. Bosh made an additional six All-Star teams in Miami and participated in four consecutive Finals, including two titles in 2012 and 2013.

Bosh averaged 20.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game on 49.2 percent shooting in his seven seasons with the Raptors. He is the franchise leader in rebounds, blocks and win shares.

He didn’t play at all last season because of blood clots that have sidelined him in parts of the last three seasons. His career is probably over, but with 11 All-Star appearances and two championships, Chris Bosh should find his way into the Hall of Fame.
